4 cube steaks
thin eye of round steaks
3 Tbsp oil
0.25 cp flour
4 cloves garlic
8 oz mushrooms
1 tsp mushroom powder
2 cps beef stock
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp oregano
1 Tbsp worcestershire
Step 1In a heavy bottom pan over medium heat. Add 1 tbsp oil, shallot and garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
Step 2Add cleaned and sliced mushrooms to pan. Cook until they have reduced by half.
Step 3Remove veg and set aside.
Step 4Salt, pepper and lightly flour each steak.
Step 5Over medium high heat, add ½ tbsp of oil per steak and sear both sides.
Step 6Set seared steaks aside.
Step 7Add mushroom mixture back to the pan still on medium high heat. Stir in remaining flour.
Step 8Once combined, reduce heat to low, add the stock and seasonings. Stir and simmer 5 minutes.
Place Steaks on top of mushroom mixture and cover.
Step 10Place in 350° oven covered for 45 minutes.
