Ingredients

1 lb ground meat

2 Tbsp water

1 tsp parsley

1 tsp thyme

1 tsp rosemary

1 tsp paprika
hot for S&S option

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

½ tsp caraway seed

½ tsp oregano

½ tsp salt

½ tsp pepper

¼ tsp red pepper flake
double for S&S option

1 Tbsp brown sugar
for S&S option
Step 1
Combine all spices in a small bowl. *I prefer to grind them together before use.*
Step 2
Add water to spices to create a slurry. Allow to sit on counter for ten minutes
Step 3
Fold spice mixture into your choice of ground meat. Cover, and refrigerate for 1 hour and up to over night.
Step 4
This sausage can be cooked as is or formed however you like. Use or freeze within 24 hours of making.
