1 lb ground beef
8 oz mushrooms
4 Tbsp unsalted butter
4 hamburger rolls
Step 1Combine burger, mushrooms, 2 tbsp butter, 3/4 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp of pepper in a bowl
Step 2Separate and form into 4 equal patties
Step 3Cook over medium heat until you reach an internal temperature of 150 degrees.
Step 4Place 1/2 tsp of butter on each burger (add cheese now if using)
Step 5Cover and cook an additional 3-4 minutes.
Step 6Serve on toasted bun with your favorite toppings and condiments
